Dan goes to Washington!
This morning our colleague Dan – he’s the good looking one on the far left – flew to Washington to seek Federal Drug Administration approval for clinical trials to cure Tay-Sachs disease which the CATS Foundation, the charity Dan founded, has pioneered.
It’s a pretty amazing achievement which is why we all got up super early yesterday morning to run the London Virgin British 10k with him for the CATS Foundation.
We’d be more than excited and grateful if you could click our MyDonate page and make a donation.
If you do we will call you and thank you! And put you on our special list of people to take out for a beer in Soho very soon!
Because you will be bringing the day closer when children born with this condition will grow up to live normal lives – which can’t be a bad way to start the week!
We missed you at our 12th Americas Structured Note Showcase and Awards last week!
We don’t want to rub it in! But you did miss…

Over GBP7,000 for CATS and Free to Be Kids!
The generous donation of auction items and bidders on the night raised over GBP7,000 for two children’s charities.
CATs, the charity founded by ex-Dresdner MTN trader Daniel Lewi (now mtn-i’s business development manager), supports families and children affected by Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease.
We were also honoured to be joined by Free To be Kids co-founder Rachel Nichols. Free to be Kids provides residential therapeutic adventures and activities for vulnerable children.
As a start-up ourselves (though now over 15 years old) mtn-i is proud to be supporting innovative charity start-ups and give them long-term support.
Since our award dinners started we’ve raised over £100,000 for vulnerable and sick children.
