Free To Be is a new charity established to support children & young people who are struggling with social or emotional difficulties, and to help create lasting change for vulnerable children’s emotional health. Skilled volunteers work with disadvantaged children & young people across London to rebuild self-esteem, boost resilience and to help explore challenging emotions and ways of managing via one to one mentoring, after school groups and therapeutic adventures & residentials. Click here to find out more about Free to Be. Cure & Action for Tay-Sachs Foundation is dedicated to providing awareness of Tay Sachs and Sandhoff diseases and supporting the families affected. In 2016, CATS Foundation are launching their ‘Race for the Cure’ campaign, as they begin clinical trials for a possible cure. The charity provides a support network, respite trips and vital equipment so that a sufferer’s quality of life is as high as possible. The CATS Foundation also provides funding to the research team who are investigating a potential treatment for both Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease. |
